Mallorca 1-0 Real Madrid, Asensio Missed a penalty in the Second Half

In the 20th round of the Spanish Primera Division, Real Madrid visited Mallorca and lost 1-0 after a Fernandez Nacho goal.

The defending champions failed to keep up with the top of the table, as Barcelona beat Sevilla 3-0 at home, leaving the two teams separated by eight points.



After this match, Real Madrid will travel to Morocco to participate in the World Club Cup. The Champions League match with English Premier League team Liverpool will start in two weeks, and they have a Copa del Rey semi-final against Barcelona in early March. Head coach Ancelotti said Courtois' injury won't be out for long, while the return of Benzema and Militao will be crucial for the team to cope with the rest of the schedule.
