Yamal: "I Want to Win La Liga, Champions League, World Cup and Ballon d'Or"

Yamal:
November 21 – Lamine Yamal received the Di Stéfano Trophy from the hands of *Marca*'s director as the best player of last season. The award is voted on by all *Marca* journalists.

The Barcelona player claimed the prize ahead of Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr., as well as important teammates like Pedri and Raphinha. Although he is only 18 years old, he has already begun collecting a series of major individual awards.

He stated: "All individual awards signify that the team had a great season. For me, it's a source of happiness and an honor. Accumulating these accolades at my age is very positive. I will keep working hard to achieve more."

Lamine Yamal is excited about the team's return to Camp Nou. He sees it as a major 'signing': "The fans are crucial. We've been playing in a stadium that wasn't our home. Montjuïc was fine, but it wasn't what we wanted. Camp Nou will give us all tremendous support and be a big boost for the season ahead."

One of Yamal's defining traits is his ambition. He wants to win everything and believes he is capable of doing so. When asked a few days ago about the Ballon d'Or, he very naturally replied that he doesn't just want to win one, but hopes to win multiple throughout his career.

2026 presents major challenges for him: with his club, the national team, and individual honors. When asked what he desires among La Liga, the Champions League, the World Cup, and the Ballon d'Or, he responded without hesitation: "I want them all. I hope I can win everything. As long as we keep playing, it's possible."
