Semen Padang FC Holds Persib to a 1-1 Draw in Bandung, Andre Rosiade: Never Give Up Spirit is Key

Persib Bandung was held to a draw by their guest, Semen  Padang FC ( SPFC ) in the continuation of Week 10 of the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 which was held at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung.
The match ended 1-1. Ciro Alves, who opened the scoring in the first half, was equalized by Gala Pagamo with a header in the second half.
This result then made the management and advisors of the Kabau Sirah team smile. As expressed by Andre Rosiade as Advisor to the Semen Padang FC Team. 
"We are very grateful for this result. Alhamdulillah. I saw all the players were disciplined, playing according to the coach's instructions," he said after the match to reporters.

He said that the Kabau Sirah team tactician had instructed them from the start to play defensively and maximize opportunities with counter attacks.
"From the beginning, we played three defensive midfielders and the boys performed according to instructions. Their never-give-up spirit was the key to the team being able to hold Persib to a draw," Andre explained.

"What is clear is that we were able to give a surprise in this match and steal points according to the target. This is extraordinary," added the Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
Andre said that the advisors and management will certainly make a major revolution to the club. One of them is trying to collect points until the first round ends.
"We will revolutionize, one of them, we ask Dimas Roni who has never been played to play. I asked the coach. The scenario is running. Hopefully this result can restore the players' mentality that was destroyed," he said.

In the second round, Andre said, there will be major changes. "We will ask coach Eduardo Almeida to look for quality players so that we can survive in League 1," he concluded. (rdr)
